Kaptain Carbon Imagine a bunch of lo-fi, bedroom pop, noise, techno, synthpop, and outsider kids all go away to art school but instead of going to class they just drink coffee and write collaborative fiction early in the morning. With that image, one is halfway to the majesty of Les Cris de Mélusine as this is the sound of Jean Jacques Perry going to the Renaissance Fair and having a blast. Favorite track: A3 - Le Lien Vassalique.

Guillaume P. Trépanier I don't know if this is dungeon synth, electro, or ambient, but either way, it's great. Music that I perceive as very instinctive, airy and light, while being beautifully well crafted. Really happy to have been able to get this tape! Favorite track: A3 - Le Lien Vassalique.

The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks.
